The Role

This position will be primarily responsible for checking the lawful integrity and transparency of organizing and operating Creative Force Vietnam, ensuring that financial, management and tax reports per requirements of the management team, the company's owner, and the local government are accurate with on-time submission.

This position will also entail supervising the accountants to process the day-to-day accounting activities for Creative Force Vietnam and for Group companies.

Responsibilities

1. Work with BOM to ensure that operation complies with the laws, the Charter of the Company, and the decision of the Company's Owner in the implementation of delegated rights and obligations including:

  • Create and review general regulations, procedures and enforce compliance with Vietnamese law and regulations.
  • Promote integrity, compliance adhered to within Vietnam operation by requesting Associates to follow company policies and procedures.

2. Supervise Accountants team to handle full spectrum of financial, cost accounting and tax functions including:

Vietnam Entity:

  • Streamlining accounting functions and operations, ensuring appropriate accounting control procedures
  • Ensuring monthly and annually financial reports, statistics reports, and investment reports are in line with law and regulations and on time submission.
  • Setting up and monitoring cost model to ensure that Vietnam has sufficient funds from affiliates to operate and simultaneously monitor the tax compliance requirements of transfer pricing.
  • Managing cash flow by reviewing and tracking all transactions to ensure Creative Force Vietnam has sufficient funds for operation.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Reviewing all financial plans and budgets, as well as working consultatively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives.
  • Monitoring/preparing tax filing (license tax, VAT, WHT, CIT, PIT), working with tax officers for ensuring VAT return effectively.
  • Working with government entities, auditors, tax authorities on finance, accounting, and all tax matters.
  • Ensuring that accounting/tax documents retention per company policy are in line with local accounting/tax requirements.

Other Group Companies:

  • Leading a team with cross entity functions such as account payable, account receivables, revenue and normal bookkeeping
  • Reconciling the monthly closing across entities in different countries.
  • Preparing data for Group Financial Controller

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting/Finance/Economics
  • Chief Accountant certificate is required
  • Minimum three (03) years of Chief Accountant experience (experience in the IT industry is a plus).
  • Experienced in multi-country - multi entities accounting is mandatory
  • Good English verbal and written communications
  • Proficiency with general business software
  • Tax knowledge, especially in VAT return
  • Having CPA/ACCA or other equivalent professional qualifications would be an added advantage
  • Ability to work effectively in a high growth working environment and a rapidly changing organization
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
