We are looking for a great Front-end developer who is proficient in Javascript. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and front-end applications built using the Electron framework.

The role

We are looking for a great Front-end developer who is proficient in Javascript. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and front-end applications built using the Electron framework. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and quality products is important.

Tech stack

For the back-end, we are using: .NET Core, SQL Server, Entity Framework, Identity Server, and RESTful APIs.
For the front end, we are using: ReactJS, React Native, Electron, NodeJS, Angular 2+, a little C#, etc. 
Besides that, we also use many AWS services like EC2, S3, SQS, SES, Lambda, StepFunctions, API Gateway, Cloudfront, Route53, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Cognito, CodeArtifact, LoadBalancer, ElasticCache (Redis), inspector, KMS, MSK, OpenSearch (Elasticsearch), SNS, Storage Gateway, Transfer Family, VPC and WAF.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the business requirements.
  • Understand and explain the architecture of the screen/feature that you are developing.
  • Create a detailed design (Component Context) from the architecture design.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Review code against business requirements and designs.
  • Deliver high-quality code following best practices for better performance, security, user experience, and reusability.
  • Define, implement, and execute unit testing.
  • Identify impacted areas/services andthe  scope of testing to prevent any degradation.
  • Optimize the front-end performance and UX.
  • Collaborate smoothly with other team members, cross-team, cross-group to get things done in a timely manner with optimal solutions.
  • Debug and fix nasty bugs, and technical support issues and explain the issue to non-tech users.
  • Show the ownership & responsibility. 

Requirements

  • Have 1+ year of experience in Software development.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
  • Experience with ReactJS or Angular .
  • Experience in HTML5, CSS3.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Ability to self-learn and adapt to new business and technologies quickly.
  • Basic communication in English.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Electron frameworks and understanding of their core principles.
  • Experience in performance optimization for Front-end applications.
