Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Accountant to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing key accounting operations, including financial reporting, tax management, account reconciliation, and coordination with various departments to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounting operations including Billing and Revenue Recognition, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Fixed assets, and Loans.
  • Monitoring/preparing tax calculations, declarations, and finalization (license tax, VAT, WHT, CIT, PIT) and other relevant tax matters.
    Account reconciliation: AR, AP, Fixed asset, bank…
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, cash flow forecast, and report variances.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external parties, such as banks, accounting service firms, auditors, tax authorities, and relevant government organizations, regarding finance and accounting matters.
  • Assist with monthly and annual financial reports, statistics reports, and investment reports are in line with law and regulations and on-time submission.
  • Build, maintain, and analyze reports and models in Google Sheets for accounting and controlling purposes (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities…).
  • Additional duties as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in working with Google Sheets and integrating various data sources (we primarily use BigQuery) to extract and handle data.
  • Good knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards, basic knowledge of IFRS, and the prevailing tax regulations.
  • Integrity, care, patience, and a high sense of responsibility in work.
  • Good analytical thinking.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

  • Experience using Power Query in Excel for ad-hoc data transformations on data unavailable in our BigQuery data warehouse.
  • Experience using Power BI.
  • Experience in software development companies.
  • Experience in an FDI enterprise.
