Customize the Order of Sections in Your Hue Panel

Today’s release includes exciting updates for the retouchers out there. It's now easier than ever to find the information you need thanks to our new setting that allows you to personalize the order of sections in your Task Panel in Photoshop.

Set up is simple. Go to the Hue Settings > Interface in the Hue app to adjust your personal order of the Task Panel sections. Then it’s only a matter of dragging and dropping sections around - you can even switch off entire sections should you want or need to hide certain information.

No More Hunting for Markings and Instructions

We often hear from users that it is too easy to miss retouching Markings and Instructions. Not only because they appear at the bottom of the Task Panel, but also because it isn’t possible to identify which images have instructions at a glance.

With this release, you can now quickly spot any tasks that contain images with Markings and Instructions on your Assigned Tasks page. If an image in the suite is rejected, the brush and note icons will reflect this.

In addition to updates in the standalone Hue app, Markings and Instructions indicators will now appear in the Photoshop panel on the image selection elements that they are related to! This makes it clear for you to spot which images contain the Markings and Instructions as soon as you open the task.

Other Improvements

More Updates to Hue

  • Now you can open multiple tasks in the same go, without your Photoshop window automatically taking focus, while Photoshop is already running.

  • The Reference Image alert has been changed so that it does not cover the image selection element any longer.

  • We have also added an additional option under Hue Settings > General that allows you to set whether or not you want the next task to open automatically after your current task has been uploaded.

Updates to Gamma (our main web application)

  • Filters have been added for Sample Created Date, Check-in Date & Check-Out Date respectively, enabling you to filter by these properties on Samples, Production, Products, and Wardrobe screens.

  • For customers using Bynder, Amplience, or Akeneo, it is now possible to map metaproperties on a variant-specific level.

  • For Editorial, it is now possible to share Workflow Templates with other Creative Force users.

  • Improvements have been made to our Asset viewer, making it possible to swipe through images, as well as zoom and pan with ease.
